We took photos of streets in Provence to create a French feel for this annual Institut Français d’Afrique du Sud festival, bringing the poster to life with colour and hand-painted titles.

Visages — Christian Bader BOOK DESIGN

We designed and printed this large scale, 472-page anthropological hardcover book in Berlin, with maps and illustrations of headrests from Bader’s 10-year study of vanishing cultures in East Africa.

TBWA Worldwide creative director Hunt asked us to design his book published by Powerhouse Books in New York. We tasked Sam Nhlengethwa with the artwork and created animations and fine-art prints. Proceeds went to Room 13 to foster youth creativity.

We created a contemporary visual identity for this fashion label that uses 100% South African cotton and wool. The design is a departure from mass-produced fashion into the world of handcraft.

Our favourite project, the 13 blue envelopes contain letters in a red cloth cover, all silkscreened, debossed and bound by hand. A limited edition, this thriller now is part of a collection of bespoke art books by Jack Ginsberg.
